PetEverX: Handcrafted Memories, Rooted in Love

Hi, I’m Calix, the artisan behind PetEverX. My path into needle felting began not in a traditional art studio, but in an animal rescue center.

While caring for abandoned and frightened animals, I saw how deeply each pet’s expression, posture, and small habits mattered to the people who loved them. When a senior rescue dog I had grown attached to found his forever home, I used natural wool to recreate his likeness as a keepsake. That first sculpture became the beginning of PetEverX.

From an Offline Studio to PetEverX

Our offline studio began in 2020. Since then, we have refined a slow, detail-focused process for creating dimensional pet portraits and figurines from photographs. Every piece is made individually with wool and a felting needle—never mass-produced from a mold.

How We Create a Recognizable Likeness

  1. Reference review: We study clear photos of the face, coat, markings, posture, and details that matter most to you.
  2. Color blending: Different shades of wool are combined to build depth and reproduce the character of the coat.
  3. Hand sculpting: The form and expression are shaped gradually through thousands of individual needle strokes.
  4. Review before shipping: We share a preview so you can review the likeness and confirmed details before the finished piece is sent.

Some customers order a portrait to celebrate a companion who is still by their side. Others are preserving the memory of a pet they have lost. In either case, our goal is the same: to create a handmade piece that feels personal because it reflects one specific pet—not simply a breed.
